Being Heard is a collaborative project between the Sexual Violence Research Initiative (SVRI) and the International Centre, University of Bedfordshire. Funded by the Oak Foundation, the goal of Being Heard is to promote ethical and meaningful participation of young people who have conducted research on sexual violence at the SVRI Forum in Rio de Janeiro in September 2017. This film captures the experiences of 10 youth participants and their five facilitators at the forum while also making recommendations on how to best include youth voices at international conferences or when undertaking sexual violence research.
